Evraz steel output rises 2.7% to 6.995 mln tns in January–June

MOSCOW, Jul 31 (PRIME) -- U.K.-based mining giant Evraz, which operates mainly in Russia, increased steel production by 2.7% on the year to 6.995 million tonnes in January–June, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

In April–June, steel production of the company went up 0.5% on the quarter to 3.507 million tonnes.
